In compliance with the Brazil's Law Nº 13.709/18 (General Data Protection Law - "LGPD") and with the aim of signaling the institutional commitment to privacy and data protection, Móveis Carraro Ltda (hereinafter, "Carraro") discloses, below, its General Privacy Policy for Brazil, which is based on the following principles: (i) lawful, fair and transparent processing of personal data; (ii) collection of personal data for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes; (iii) processing of personal data restricted to the minimum necessary for the fulfillment of purposes; (iv) processing of correct and updated personal data, providing means for rectification, whenever possible; (v) use of technical and organizational measures aimed at preventing unauthorized or illegal use and against its loss, destruction or accidental damage.
Data collected and purposes of processing
Carraro will use your personal data only for hypotheses allowed by the LGPD, such as due to legal or regulatory obligation; execution of a contract or measures that precede it; exercise of rights in processes; by obtaining your free and express consent; for credit protection; and/or due to legitimate interest, aligned with your expectations. Below, we list the main purposes of processing your data:
a) User identification data
The user can access the contents of Carraro's websites without the need to provide their personal information. However, the use, by the user, of certain features of the sites (including the sections Sign Our News, Export, Contact Us and Work With Us) will depend on registration, in which case, the following user data will be collected and stored: Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, CPF, Date of Birth, Address, State, City, ZIP.
b) Data related to the execution of contracts signed with the holder
For the execution of purchase and sale contracts, provision of services and any other business eventually signed, involving the Carraro brand, data related and/or necessary for its execution will be collected and stored: Name, Profession, Full Address, CPF, RG, Date of Birth, Email, Furniture Delivery Address, including the content of any communications with the user.
The data processed in this scope will serve for purposes such as execution of services, billing, monitoring of contract execution, delivery, after-sales, handling of complaints, among others. Depending on the type of business, Carraro may also process your data for credit analysis purposes, including consultation with restriction/pendency checking services.
c) Access records
In compliance with the provisions of art. 15, caput and paragraphs, of Federal Law No. 12.965/2014 (Civil Internet Framework), the user's access records to this site may be collected and stored for at least six months.
d) Marketing and Newsletter
The name, last name and email address registered by the user who chooses to subscribe to our Newsletter will be collected and stored until the user requests to unsubscribe.
Finally, unless you object, we may process personal data to meet our legitimate purposes and/or preliminary procedures for entering into contracts, for prospecting and customer relationship monitoring and customer loyalty purposes (which involve, in particular, the need to better know the people with whom we are establishing a relationship, by sending commercial messages or related to our news, products, services and offers).
e) Contact us
We will also process your personal data (name, email, phone, CPF, date of birth, address, State, City, ZIP) for the purpose of managing the "Contact Us" service, in cases where you actively seek us via the website, to comply with your requests (such as sending complaints, suggestions, expression of interest in purchasing, etc.).
